Are you working in marketing campaign planning and delivery and looking for a meaningful opportunity where your work can make a real difference to the world around you? We're on a mission to support charities and volunteering and an exceptional Marketing and Communications Executive will be integral to us achieving our goals.
We're at the start of a journey and we'd love for you to be part of a new and exciting team….
NCVO is transforming the way it works. With a new strategic direction and leadership team, we are determined to work with our members so that charities and volunteering can thrive. As the country recovers from the Covid-19 pandemic and renews itself, charities and volunteering aren’t just vital support systems for communities in need – they’re at the heart of how people want to lead their lives.
As Marketing and Communications Executive, you will work closely with our Marketing and Communications Manager and the wider Communications, Marketing and Membership team to help us transform the role that NCVO plays within the charity and voluntary sector. You will support the planning and scheduling all of NCVO’s marketing activity and translate strategic goals into actionable activities.
This is a fantastic challenge at a time of considerable change for us. You will use your marketing and communications experience to plan and implement campaigns as well as using research and insight, segmentation and analytics to identify the right channels and tactics. Working collaboratively with colleagues you will be adept at building effective relationships with internal stakeholders. This is a real opportunity to make an impact and influence the marketing and communications approach within a new team.
You’ll be excited by change and positive about being part of a new integrated communications, marketing and membership team. Trusted by staff at all levels, and from all backgrounds, you will contribute to developing a new collaborative and inclusive culture. Like many organisations, at present, that includes being able to work and manage your workload remotely.
NCVO is fully committed to equity, diversity and inclusion in our sector. We want this to be reflected in the diversity of the people who work for us and we welcome applications from people from all backgrounds and identities. We particularly welcome applications from disabled and Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) candidates as BAME and disabled people are currently under-represented at NCVO. As part of our commitment to employing disabled people, all disabled candidates who meet the minimum requirement for all competencies on the person specification will be guaranteed an interview.
If you have access needs or require reasonable adjustments as part of the recruitment process, please let us know.
