Job Description

Our growing Technology and Design team plays a key role in ensuring OS is at the cutting edge of geospatial capability and is looking for people to join them. Its mission is to work across the business to provide customer centric design and technology services.

Join us and you’ll have an opportunity to make an impact. To empower projects that deliver real-world benefits across Britain and internationally. To hear our customers say they couldn’t have done it without us. And to be central to OS’s vision: to be recognised as world leaders in geospatial services; creating location insight for positive impact.

About the role

We seek a Senior Delivery Manager to lead our Technology & Design department, in developing the next generation AI, Machine Learning, data capture and data storage systems to drive our world leading geospatial services.

Providing organisational and technical leadership to our forward-thinking agile teams, you will shape and lead the development and operations across a progressive software engineering department.

Having a customer focus with the ability to think creatively and inspire engineering teams, you will provide thought leadership, coaching and support to a diverse range of software development teams to help realise organisational strategy and goals.

You will be working with a wide variety of techniques, technologies and methodologies, and be fundamental in helping teams define and implement their approach to solving customer problems.

Your organisation wide network, coaching and direction will drive and enable collaboration with senior business stakeholders. This in turn will allow you to influence, shape, design and challenge roadmaps and objectives. Through collaboration with project and delivery managers, you will help understand the lead time to business value and manage delivery risks and issues.
