Job Description

We are looking for a suitably expert, dynamic and inspiring individual to lead this well-established department. The Head of Athletic Development answers to the Director of Sport (DoS) as well as working closely with Assistant Directors of Sport and Heads of Sport. They will have overall responsibility for all athletic development programming across the whole school. 

 

The role will involve supporting the growth, development and management of athletics within the school’s sports programme (an ability to coach athletics to a high level, particularly on the track will be advantageous and for the right candidate the tenured position of Head of Athletics can be added as an additional Responsibility Allowance) as well as a prominent role coaching athletes on both the Young Norfolk Sports Academy and the Schools’ Scholarship Enrichment Programme. 

 

Experience of working with youth athletes in and outside of the school environment as well as experiences in several of the school’s main sports (Athletics, Cricket, Hockey, Netball, Rowing and Rugby) is essential.
