Here at CQC we work to promote safe, compassionate, high quality care. And, in unprecedented times, this has never been more important. We have embarked on an ambitious programme of transformation to become a digitally enabled, insight-driven organisation, delivering world class regulation in health and social care in line with our new strategy. Becoming an insight-driven organisation is a critical component of our new operating model. We are looking for individuals who are caring, demonstrate integrity, work well as part of a team and always strive for excellence in everything they do. Your leadership will make a significant impact on our customer and colleague experience, and in turn help the lives of the millions of health and social care users.
Head of Insight Products
Reporting to our Director of Data & Insight, you’ll have a powerful impact on the country’s quality of health and care. The insight products you develop will be used by both internal and external customers to drive improvement in the quality of care being delivered. We’ll look to you for delivery of the strategy, roadmap and implementation of self-serve insight products that lead to effective, efficient user decision-making.
In practice, you’ll lead business and technical experts to achieve your outcomes, providing leadership and direction across the delivery lifecycle. You’ll introduce agile ways of product development to our team, move us away from products focused solely around sectors to a more integrated approach across areas and pathways and ensure the new insight products we build underpin our new approach to assessment of health and care services.
Who we’re looking for
A champion of the power of data and insight, your impressive product background means you’ll be at home managing competing demands and inspiring your team and colleagues around you. Equally, you’ll bring the gravitas to instil a collaborative, consultative approach and enjoy the responsibility of delivering outputs that have a measurable impact on the way we deliver our purpose at CQC.
In return, we offer flexible working and a range of valuable benefits. However, it’s the challenge of helping health and care services be as safe, effective, compassionate and high-quality as can be that should interest you most.
