About the role
You will join a growing and exciting international business and play a key role in ensuring we deliver costs savings, maximum value and a quality service across the organisation. As Procurement Data Analyst, you will be a key player in supporting the Procurement Team to deliver on our strategic objectives to the Business through excellent KPI & market-based analysis. You will be responsible for the collection and analysis of data from various internal and external sources. You will use your experience to identify trends and opportunities, presenting your results in a clear manner selecting the appropriate visualisation tool.
You will be responsible for liaising with team colleagues to understand specific issues, proposing possible solutions supported by accurate data analysis.

Being able to engage with your stakeholders, build relationships and trust is critical. Your organised and methodical approach will enable you to maximise the influence that this role has in supporting the team.
Your analytical and methodical approach will enable you to fully understand your all category areas and analyse market and industry data to influence solutions to support the procurement strategies which fulfil OS business requirements.
This role will be pivotal in enabling the Procurement Team to deliver the financial savings, supplier performance improvements and added value that supports the overall success of Ordnance Survey.
You will have a proven track record in the following essential criteria and competencies:
Analysis of large complex data sets from a variety of sources, presenting concise and relevant information, suitable to your audience, to enable informed decisions to be made
Ability to proactively identify areas of opportunities within Procurement spend and supplier performance
Develop and maintain supplier performance metrics
Manage Procurement MI Reports
Excellent skills in all Microsoft Office applications and other reporting suites with ability to produce dashboards
Experience of working in a procurement environment
Proven track record in engaging with and influencing a complex and diverse range of stakeholders
Skilled in the use of SAP / D365
The ability to be flexible in your approach to work allocated
