What we're looking for:

We have a vacancy for a Sourcing Manager within our Procurement & Supply Chain division in our IT and BPO area.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity and will be based from our Bromley office with some homeworking expected.

To thrive in this role you'll need to demonstrate extensive sourcing experience, preferably within IT/Software services. You'll be adept at building business requirements for the short and long term.

The complexity of categories and projects requires project management skills and a proven ability to manage change both internal and external through to successful completion.

You'll be a self-starter and have the ability to advise, guide and influence stakeholders using effective problem solving and proactive communication skills.

What you'll be doing:

You will support the implementation of our Procurement and Supply Chain strategy within your category or responsibility, managing all external supplier spend and driving breakthrough results for Direct Line Group through effective development and delivery of sourcing and contracting strategies.

You will be accountable for the delivery of all sourcing activity, including RFX, RFP, supplier negotiations and contracting, ensuring compliance with DLG sourcing policy and minimum standards

You will adapt and implement Category Management as an effective and efficient process, ensuring compliance with all DLG policies, minimum standards and governance / risk mechanisms

Ensure that contractual arrangements are aligned with supplier and relationship strategies to deliver maximum commercial benefit to DLG whilst adequately protecting DLG from adverse risk exposure

Proactively support all commercial aspects of implementation, including on-boarding and exit of suppliers, change management requests and ongoing supplier management issues and disputes

You'll have a keen insight and understanding of business requirements on a 1-3 year horizon

We'll need you utilise all DLG procurement systems as required and deliver procurement projects in line with the DLG procurement process and standards
