Principal Policy and Project Officer – Skills and Culture

London’s economy is facing big challenges and opportunities with the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. We are looking for a highly motivated person with enthusiasm and ideas to help support London’s economic recovery and promote the role that London’s local authorities can play in this.

Working in London Councils’ Enterprise, Economy and Skills team, you will work on a range of policy projects to help Londoners get the skills they need in key growth sectors, promote apprenticeships, support London’s crucial cultural sector and create economic growth that benefits more disadvantaged Londoners. 

This is an outward facing role, building relationships with and influencing lots of different stakeholders and coming up with creative solutions to make London a better place to live and work. You’ll work with London local authorities, the Greater London Authority, central government, business organisations, cultural organisations, skills providers and others. You’ll develop policy ideas and solutions and present them in a persuasive way.
