We’re currently looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant to join our high performing team that spans across Birmingham, London and Edinburgh. You will act as the custodian of our D&I agenda and partner closely with your business areas on implementing strategic talent drives to bring in the very best talent. 


We require this individual to be highly resilient, can embrace change and has exceptional Stakeholder Management skills. We consistently drive a high level of service to the business by operating strategically and commercially on both the talent drives as well as project activity across HR and the wider business.


This is more than just your average Talent Acquisition Consultant role. You will be stretched, gain development and have ample opportunities to get involved in so much more outside of BAU.


Key Responsibilities

Lead the full recruitment cycle and operation of the day-to-day recruitment processes, focusing on attracting & sourcing high quality diverse candidates.

Focus on direct sourcing, partnering with stakeholders and developing TA strategies for the target business area, utilizing a proactive sourcing approach, and building pipelines of future talent

To raise the profile of Phoenix Group and increase the number of quality, diverse applicants by proactively initiating and managing digital engagement via the Groups Social Media platforms, whilst consistently acting as brand ambassadors.

Advise hiring managers, senior stakeholders and HR Team on sourcing and selection methodologies. Effectively implement the recruitment & selection processes for Permanent, Fixed Term, Contractor and Temporary resource. Continuously review and improve service delivery in line with business requirements.


What We’re Looking For


Essential


Knowledge of the end-to-end Recruitment & Selection process including legal requirements and best practice principles

Must have experience in an in-house role

Significant advanced working knowledge of the use of social media direct sourcing techniques; critically LinkedIn; specifically LinkedIn recruiter

Proven success in evolving & executing Talent Acquisition strategies involving attraction & direct sourcing techniques

Knowledge and familiarity of using Boolean searches, search engines, social networking and community forums

Understanding of EVP (Employee Value Proposition) and employer brand

Commercial approach to recruitment to ensure the very best talent is engaged and hired into Phoenix

Experience of a range of internal and external attraction & selection methodologies: innovative sourcing solutions, competency based interviewing techniques, assessment design and delivery

Experience of senior management/specialist recruitment & selection processes

Experience of selection and negotiation with recruitment suppliers – agencies, advertising & creatives, assessment providers etc

Knowledge & experience of highly effective communication and engagement strategies for internal & external stakeholders

Highly skilled in working to deadlines and ability to prioritise workload

Ability to cope under pressure ensuring work received is processed effectively and efficiently


Desirable

Previous experience in Financial Services

CIPD qualified Level 5
