About the role

Customers are at the heart of what we do, and we are investing to significantly transform the digital products and services that thousands of our public and private sector customers rely on every day. We need an experienced Strategic Propositions Lead to join our Product Management Team to lead and evolve our Address product proposition, a product portfolio that is hugely important because it locates, validates, links and describes properties and land-areas, something that is vital for Emergency Services arriving on time, getting deliveries to your front door, giving certainty to the finance sector, connecting critical government process and enabling a sustainable future for the nation.  

What we’re looking for 

As Strategic Propositions Lead you will have a growth mindset. You will actively originate and structure future thinking and development opportunities in the context of our current business model and partnerships.

You will work across our organisation with product managers, customer facing teams, innovation & operational teams to form our strategy for our Address Product portfolio, and champion its implementation with support from Senior Leads & Directors, working very closely with our Joint Venture partner organisation.

You will have a very strong track record of successfully navigating complex environments & challenging stakeholder demands to achieve business targets. Having experience in the 'Geospatial Addressing' industry would be helpful, but don’t be put off from applying if you don’t have it.    

The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering positive outcomes for our customers. We are looking for someone:

With a track record of leading and prioritising responses to critical industry trends that present growth/value adding opportunities and threats to short/long-term relevance, and advise the business on emerging market trends and opportunities

With experience of turning authoritative market understanding into insight to enable effective decision making and outcomes to help OS secure greater market share

Who can build and maintain influential internal and external networks to enhance market/segment expertise

With experience in setting the product strategy and sponsoring investments to realise growth outcomes described in the roadmap including revenue growth and product adoption

Who has launched differentiating propositions, products and services that have contributed to the development and delivery of commercial outcomes, roadmap, strategy & vision

With excellent collaboration skills who can collaborate internally with accountable product, programme and service delivery colleagues to deliver a product and service portfolio that achieves sustainable business performance and a positive P&L (profit & loss)

With excellent collaboration skills who can work well externally with stakeholders and our partnership organisations and use their emotional intelligence to build very strong working relationships, and be able to demonstrate a track record of doing this successfully to deliver business objectives

With excellent written, verbal and presentation skills who is experienced working with boards and governance groups
