Bancroft’s School is a co-educational independent school located in Woodford Green, London Borough of Redbridge. The School currently has around 1,000 pupils aged between 7 and 18, around 200 of whom are pupils of the Preparatory School and 800 of whom are pupils of the Senior School.
Bancroft’s is proud of its academic achievements and places great value on the broad variety of co-curricular activities offered to pupils. The School wishes to invite applications for two vacancies on the governing body.
Governors of the School are encouraged to:
• use their experience of education and life beyond the School to inform conversations
• develop and utilise their skills in a board-level environment
• make a valuable contribution to education and School community
• support and challenge the School so that it improves for pupils and staff
• bring their unique experiences, perspectives and insights in to decision-making in the interests of the School community
