This is an exciting time to join Home Group one of the UKs Largest Housing providers and be part of our brilliant flexible bank. Youll be supporting our amazing customers, while picking and choosing the shifts you want to work.

Where you could work

Youll be helping our vulnerable customers in a variety of services€¦you will find yourself working in our accommodation based services across Gloucestershire. This will include shifts in both our Adult and Young Peoples Services. These services are based in Cheltenham, Gloucester and Stroud so the locations are really varied.

Our customers are vulnerable and have a mix of support needs including a history of homelessness, substance misuse problems, low level mental health or simply that they lack the life skills to maintain their own tenancies.

About you

You thrive both on working with a range of vulnerable customers, who all have different support needs, as well as working with colleagues across different services! Youll be flexible to work at short notice, as youll be the one picking your next shift. The great news is that youll be gaining loads of experience working in different services or locations. But we do need to be a real people person!

Though youll have the heart of a Lion, youll sometimes need the skin of a Rhino, however they dont take away from the caring nature you display towards our customers. You may already work with vulnerable adults or have done so in the past, however its not a deal-breaker if you havent. However, to be brilliant in this role, we do need you to have a caring attitude and the desire to learn and make a difference!

How it works

Working on our bank, youll be able to pick and choose your shifts - from those available in your area. As busy as you are, you should be able to do this on the go via your mobile device!

Whats in it for you

At Home Group our pay rates are based on Living Wage Foundation rate (definitely more than some organisations!) That means youll be paid a fair hourly rate for every hour that you work and your rate even includes a payment towards your holiday pay!
