The role

At DLG Legal Services, our mission is to make law easy and accessible to everyone. As part of the Direct Line Group, we provide legal services to over 50,000 DLG customers each year. Customers can access our legal Adviceline team and our growing list of services includes personal injury, employment, property, inheritance, and contract litigation. We also support our parent group, litigating on their behalf.

We are currently recruiting for a MI Analyst, reporting into the Head of Commercial Delivery based in Leeds on a 12 month fixed time contract.

What were looking for:

Skills essential for the role are -

Competent SQL coding experience; SSRS, SSIS, SSAS.

Good Excel skills.

Good analytical and problem solving skills.

Ability to communicate efficiently with stakeholders and management teams.

A self-motivated, logical and organised approach.

Ability to work under pressure, attention to detail important.

Must be able to use own initiative and prioritise.

Flexibility in work content.

Other skills which are desirable are -

Similar industry; claimant law firm with high volume of caseload.

Case/file management; improving production volumes (end-to-end case management).

Tableau experience.

Avaya reporting suite experience.

Filestream, Proclaim or other case management system

What youll be doing:

As a key member of the MI Team, you will help lead the new innovation in Business Intelligence for the whole of Legal Services, helping us move towards automated, innovative self-service reporting.

Help to create a true analytical Business Intelligence function throughout the firm, producing market leading analysis on all areas of the business, from claims insight to key legal analysis to help drive the business and understand the market place.

Have autonomy on the design and production of reports for internal and external purposes on a regular and ad hoc basis.

Assist the Senior MI Analyst, from an MI perspective, with the migration of our core Case Management System into Proclaim.

Provide knowledge and awareness  on how the company/profit centres are performing from an operational perspective (not management/statutory accounting). The role focuses upon Business Intelligence, providing insights using predictive, diagnostic and prescriptive analytics.

Assist leadership and managers to understand trends, KPIs, metrics, and to make business decisions.

Analyse and suggest potential solutions to bottlenecks and problems.

Assist management in streamlining processes using data analytics.
