It's a great time to join our expanding test community., where your skills will be valued and recognised. You'll join as an experienced Test Analyst, working to identify, manage and execute testing on agile projects for both, hosted and cloud-based solutions.
This is a unique opportunity for testing front-end customer facing websites, mobile applications, back-end APIs and the integration layers. A technical role requiring knowledge of test automation, cloud-based infrastructure testing, API testing, front-end web-based application testing including e-commerce sites and mobile applications, security testing, performance and load testing.
You will be responsible for delivering the test activities to meet the functional and non-functional requirements and ambitions of our stakeholders, whist contributing to effective agile delivery. Working closely with Software Engineers based at OS and also third-party vendors in conducting automation, exploratory and regression testing using a variety of development and test frameworks in a CI/CD environment.
You will regularly participate in estimation activities and are encouraged to identify opportunities to maximise test benefit within the team. You will report to, provide regular updates and provide support to the domain Test Lead. You will communicate test goals and issues between technical teams, leads, architects, delivery managers and stakeholders.
What were looking for
If youre interested in joining a team that lies at the heart of what OS is about, were looking for someone that can demonstrate skills and experience in:
Analytical skills, designing and implementing tests around TDD/BDD for functional and non-functional test activities
Design and execute appropriate automated and manual test suites to ensure adequate effective test coverage and adherence to acceptance criteria
Technical skills in test automation frameworks and languages like Selenium, Rest Assured and Java
Testing web applications, E-commerce sites and mobile applications using manual and automation techniques
Maximising the benefits of appropriate test tools and practices to ensure efficient and successful delivery
Working in an agile methodology whilst engaging with engineers and third-party delivery teams
Business requirements with the ability to work with delivery teams and stakeholders to develop appropriate test approach and define acceptance criteria for successful delivery
Experience or knowledge in the following areas would be advantageous:
Testing (component, integration, end-to-end, UAT)
Non-functional testing techniques and tools (Including performance, accessibility and security)
Creating build and release pipelines for CI/CD
Testing on a cloud platform
Awareness of security policies (OWASP Top 10)

This role will be based at our state-of-the-art Headquarters in Southampton. However, all our people, where they can are currently working from home and we recognise the future need to be flexible. As such we are open to applications that can deliver work remotely where appropriate.
