This is a rare opportunity to work with a Force that has a proven track record of driving innovative change whilst continuing to effectively police the diverse and complex challenges the Force area brings. As an ethical leader, you will be key in upholding our organisational values, driving collaborative solutions to challenges and bringing our prevention first strategy to life.

Sustaining the strong and productive working relationships across the alliance, including with the Police & Crime Commissioners, their teams and partner organisations will be a key aspect of this role. The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate they are an exceptional team player who has excellent stakeholder management skills, experience of working with other criminal justice and partner agencies, and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative structure.

You will support the Chief Constable and, amongst a broad portfolio, will be responsible for Organisational Learning, Corporate Communications and Legal Services.

Applicants must have passed the Strategic Command Course and be able to demonstrate a breadth of operational leadership experience, as well as experience of leading on major programmes.
