About the role
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will take full responsibility for business analysis within a significant segment of Ordnance Survey where the advice given, and decisions made will have a measurable impact on the profitability and effectiveness of the organisation. You will challenge business sponsors and stakeholders at all levels of the business, assess and assure needs, priorities and objectives and shape the analysis phases/delivery of projects and programmes to ensure a continuous, traceable and assured focus on business outcomes. You will manage the performance and work allocation of team members to deliver the key business analysis activities. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of the BA practice to ensure it can deliver maximum contribution to Ordnance Survey.

Essential
Apply a broad range of techniques within the business analysis and business change skillset to resolve business problems and clarify business requirements in a complex business environment with multiple stakeholders
Plan and lead scoping, requirements definition and priority setting for complex, strategic programmes
Lead analysis within an Agile Delivery Environment, working alongside roles such as UX Designers, Product Owners, Architects, Lead Engineers
Lead analysis within customer centric projects which focus on the delivery of web-based customer-facing systems
Build long-term strategic relationships with senior stakeholders and others (internal and external)
A broad range of industry-wide modelling techniques
A high-level understanding of business and technical architecture
Supporting the recruitment, resource management and development of teams
Desirable
API access and data fulfilment
Martech knowledge and experience
BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis (or equivalent)
Professional membership (e.g. IIBA UK, BCS, BA Managers Forum)

Location
This role will be based at our state-of-the-art Headquarters in Southampton. However, all our people, where they can are currently working from home and we recognise the future need to be flexible. As such we are open to applications that can deliver work remotely where appropriate.
