Supplier Manager

About the Role

As a Supplier Manager youll be based in our Operations Team, which is a key function at OS. Youll be building and developing relationships with suppliers to ensure the best value for money and delivery of production outputs. Working with the Supply chain manager you will manage supplier performance against the appropriate service level agreements. You will also have excellent relationship management skills to build strong and enduring relationships and demonstratable experience of being able to work collaboratively with both internal and external teams.
Responsibilities:
Negotiates and agrees delivery schedules with the supplier, and monitors delivery against schedule
Manages supplier performance against the appropriate service level agreements
Works with suppliers to define remedial action plans, improve supplier performance and identify initiatives to improve customer satisfaction
Collates and manages all production information and provides to supplier
Authorises financial expenditure in line with agreed budget
Collaborates with Procurement to help define service enhancements, potential innovation and improved value for money
Provides leadership to create an engaged and high-performing team
What were looking for:
egree / professional qualification / membership or equivalent experience in relevant discipline
Knowledge of supply chain tools, techniques and methods
Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
A strong programme delivery focus
Good analytical and problem-solving ability
A willingness to travel and work overseas as necessary
A good knowledge of geospatial data collection techniques and methods would also be advantageous

Location: This role will be based at our state-of-the-art Headquarters in Southampton. However, all our people, where they can are currently working from home.
