We have a fabulous opportunity for you to join our awesome team, who support our brilliant customers in supported housing services in Gloucester, Cheltenham and Stroud. Youll work across two services that support adults with complex needs or young people with a variety of needs.
 
Youll keep the buildings and customers safe during night hours as well as help with housing tasks like preparing lets and small admin tasks. We will provide you with extensive training to make you feel confident in your role as well as offer you opportunities to progress.

Our Concierge team is brand new so this is a very exciting time to join us and help to create a service that ensures the safety and security for vulnerable people within our society.  Youll be joining 8 other people across our team in Gloucestershire, and youll all be newbies together! Youll also be working alongside our experienced Support Teams and managers so you will have the support, training and induction you need to learn and develop in your role.
 
As well as our passion to support people, our teams also unite in their passion about food. Our managers are Kate and Jana, who have both been with us at Home Group for several years, so they both know a thing or two about supported housing! Kate loves to eat healthy and regularly does park run, whereas Jana loves to bake cakes and talk about all kinds of food! And when were lucky, Jana brings her delicious cakes into work to share. Here at Home Group, we dont just love to support our customers, were there for each other too!
 
Working hours
We provide 24-hour support to our customers each and every day. Youll be mainly working waking nights on a rota basis and take your turn working weekends and bank holidays. We need you to be flexible to meet the needs of our customers, but we aim to give you the time you need to spend it on doing the things that matter to you!
 
Bank
Looking for a more flexible working pattern? You can also join us on a flexible basis by being part of our bank.  You can work hours that fit around your current commitments or even pick up some additional shifts to your main role to earn some extra cash and get paid on a weekly basis.
 
About you
As our Housing Concierge youll play a really important role in supporting the smooth running of our services.  You will ensure the safety and security of our buildings and of our customers, and make sure we get on with our neighbours! Since the properties are spread out across Gloucester, Cheltenham and Stroud, you will need to have access to a car but dont worry, youll get paid mileage.
 
Youll get involved in lots of different activities which will include monitoring CCTV, regularly patrolling the premises, monitoring visitors to and from the building and ensuring tenancy conditions and service rules are adhered to.  As our Housing Support Concierge youll also provide out of hours cover being the first point of contact for our clients during the night. At times well also need you to do some general cleaning duties too.
 
Youre passionate and motivated to help vulnerable people make positive and lasting changes to their lives. Youll impress us with your ability to work on your own initiative.
 
If youre not the biggest fan of technology, thats not a problem to us. You do need to know that we are quite a high tech company and most of our application process and mandatory learning are online. However were glad to support you, if you need help.

When you join, youll need to have a valid Enhanced Check under the Disclosure and Barring Service. The great news is that we will pay for that to be done if you dont have a transferrable one.
