Salary circa £34,000 pa plus brilliant benefits!

We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join us as our HR Business Partner. Youll partner a range of internal customers across Home Group, supporting our brilliant people managers to unleash potential, working collaboratively to harness insights and expertise across Human Resources and Development.

Youll be part of a small but perfectly formed HR team working with Jaya, our HR Manager, who has a passion for people and equality and loves to talk all things fashion. Our head office is in Newcastle and our other key location is in London. Were all about collaboration here at Home Group, so as a team we get together at both locations and make best use of our fab technology to stay connected. Were a multi award winning HRD Team with centres of excellence in HR, Organisational Development, Learning & Development, Resourcing, Reward and Employability.

Working flexibly

Its our teams unwritten rule that you attend the important appointments in life, be it your childs school play, your partners graduation, or to get your new fridge delivered. You can elect to fit these around your working day or use your flexi to take the time off. Our focus is on getting the job done, not your working hours!

A bit about you

Youre confident, energised and a true collaborator. An excellent rapport builder, you quickly gain the confidence of colleagues and stakeholders building excellent working relationships. Youre able to formally analyse and understand individual stakeholder insights, adopting a coaching and facilitating style to achieve commercial results. Technically, you have relevant experience in a similar role, and ideally youre CIPD qualified too! You have an understanding of employment legislation and the ability to apply it pragmatically including in relation to ER case management, TUPE, restructures and redundancies.

Travel

Its important that youre comfortable with travel and are flexible too - supporting stakeholders across the North region. The good news is that youll have the chance to shape your own diary. Youll likely spend around 2 days or so per week on the road, and working from our head office in Gosforth Newcastle the rest of the time.  As a team we get together 1 or 2 days per month to share best practice and keep updated and informed. You are comfortable travelling to join us and could even be away overnight on occasion.
