Are you a detail-oriented first-class administrator with excellent people skills and proven experience of working in a fast-paced environment?

Do you like the challenge of working on a number of different tasks, prioritising effectively and supporting a number of stakeholders? Are you proactive with good ideas of how to improve and streamline current processes? If so, this could be the role for you.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Coordinator to work in the BMJ Consumer Marketing Team, assisting the team with the implementation of the consumer strategy and tactical plans.

The remit of the role is wide-reaching and hands-on, with lots of opportunity to get a broad range of knowledge across the business.

Responsibilities:

Team support:

- Reconcile invoices with Finance Accounts

-  Collate invoices/expense requests

- Provide support to the wider consumer marketing team as required with tactical marketing

tasks and ad hoc duties

- Perform essential administrative tasks (e.g. arranging team meetings and taking the minutes)

Tracking and reporting:

-  Compile and prepare internal marketing activity reports

- Use Google Analytics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns

Supporting marketing campaign activities:

-  Deployment of regular and ad hoc email campaigns using email provider Adestra

- Utilise social media for marketing opportunities

-  Co-ordinating cross promotion across journals (e.g. banner advertising of relevant products

Desired skills & experience:

You will need experience working in a dynamic office environment as a PA or administrator. We also require intermediate skills in Google suite ie spreadsheets, calendar, forms, docs, and experience using email platforms such as Adestra or mailchimp is desirable.

Detail and accuracy is everything in this role and you pride yourself on your analytical skills. The ability to juggle lots of different tasks with excellent time management is a must as youll have the opportunity to work across multiple products. You will be a team-player with great interpersonal skills, as you will be interacting with many different internal people.
