Salary: £26,018 £32,630 per annum (Inc. In 2018 well be talking to new and existing supporters about our work to tackle plastic waste, climate change, fracking and fossil fuels and how we are cleaning up the UKs air. Our Individual Giving team raises over 90% of Friends of the Earths income through a variety of supporter recruitment and experience initiatives. Our programme spans traditional channels such as print and telemarketing, however we are increasingly moving towards digital channels and have a series of highly successful digital campaigns in our portfolio. As an Individual Giving Officer, youll work across both our donor acquisition and retention programmes to ensure that your experience here is maximised. This is a great opportunity to develop your abilities within a vibrant fundraising team. Weve recently developed a new organisational strategy, with a key focus on supporter experience and have recently completed a digital refresh. So, were looking for someone with good knowledge of digital strategy, experience of seizing opportunities to develop new products and seeking out and nurturing new audiences especially using digital channels. Youll be a dynamic fundraiser with direct marketing skills to manage their own projects and budgets; a person with a flair for creativity and a head for numbers, who is good at working to schedules but is also flexible to last minute changes. We want a person who has enthusiasm to learn and develop and someone who is willing to share learning across the team. As someone who can develop strong relationships with colleagues and suppliers, youll have delivered direct marketing campaigns from start to finish, ideally including telemarketing and mailings. Youll also have worked on digital fundraising campaigns and will be familiar with fundraising databases.
