Job Description

Closes: 30 June 2017 Interview: Mid July TBC We are now recruiting Apprentices and Trainees to join us from September 2017, in the following departments: Production: work in ?Lighting and Sound? and ?Technical Theatre and Stage? to develop a range of specialist production skills. Learning, Education and Participation: learn the skills to support the facilitation and administration of practical theatre workshops, projects and events. Building Facilities: learn multiple trades to include painting, electrics, plumbing, grounds and building maintenance including use of BMS systems. Finance Department: work primarily on the purchase ledger and other areas of the department including cash handling and reconciliations. All successful apprentices and trainees will be given mentoring and assessment to help them develop and grow professionally in a supportive environment. Apprenticeships will also gain a formal qualification. These posts are aimed at practically-minded young people aged 18-24 years who have decided further education is currently not for them. The training will provide a skill set to develop a career in theatre or the wider working world. Chichester Festival Theatre believes diversity is about celebrating and valuing individuals.
