Salary: 48,000 - 52,000 depending on experience
Hours: 37 hours per week

As a Director of Learning and member of the Senior Management Team you will lead a diverse team of dedicated and committed staff and will be expected to inspire and instil a culture of high expectations for employees and students alike. The main purpose of your role will be to drive the achievement of high quality teaching and learning across all courses in the Directorate and achieve outstanding student results and high levels of positive destinations for all our students.
Southampton is poised to become a centre of cultural excellence with its new cultural quarter underway. Our brilliant facilities and resources (we think the best in the area) together with an ambitious management team provide an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to make an impact.
This role will be attractive to a creative and resilient curriculum manager looking to move up to a college senior leadership role or for an already senior leader looking for a more challenging role. In addition to a minimum of 5 years curriculum management experience you must be a consummate networker with good industrial links and with a successful track record in improving outcomes for learners.
