Job Description

Business Disability Forum (BDF) is a world-leading UK member organisation of businesses and public sector organisations. BDF has more than twenty years? experience of equipping people with the expertise to create confident organisations by improving the understanding of disability in business, removing barriers to groups and making adjustments for individuals. Our Disability Standard is the authoritative benchmark measuring the progress of organisations becoming disability-smart; providing a way to improve disabled customer, candidate and employee experiences. Our taskforces and networks regularly bring together our Members and Partners with disabled opinion leaders to share best practice and create change in their specialist fields or areas of common interest. The roles BDF are looking for two Relationship Managers, who will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service to Business Disability Forum Members by engaging and managing effective business relationships with them to ensure the annual renewal and continuation of their journey to becoming disability-smart, thereby promoting the economic and social inclusion of disabled people. The requirement ? Proven track record of building, managing and developing effective business relationships with a wide range of clients at all levels leading to on-target sales. ? Track record of successful telephone and face-to-face meetings leading to selling products and services to meet agreed financial targets. ? Track record of providing clear, accurate and concise written sales proposals/quotations. ? Enthusiasm and aptitude for business development (e.g. sale of content resources [hard copy and intranet licences], sponsorship, membership recruitment and consultancy.). ? An understanding of disability as it relates to a broad range of organisations (public, private, not-for-profit and SMEs) both as employers and service providers.
