Your ability to improve organisational performance and manage people and budgets can also help us to bring about fundamental, positive changes to both police culture and business performance. The programme With up to 200 staff under your command as a Superintendent, you will be putting strategic business plans into action, determining priorities relating to safety, social inclusion and the prevention and reduction of crime and antisocial behaviour. Over the 18 month programme, we?ll give you all the training, development and support you need in preparation. The majority of your learning (c.70%) will be on the job, including rotations at constable, sergeant and inspector level, where you?ll gain exposure to different policing situations. You?ll also receive classroom training at a College of Policing site, as well as specific Met training to ensure you understand every aspect of this challenging role.
