Purpose of the Role
We?re looking for a digital coordinator who can improve our use of digital to build a better future for our planet. You?ll work to help drive digital transformation at Friends of the Earth through collaborating with our colleagues to develop fantastic user-focused digital experiences.

Main Responsibilities
Supporting your colleagues use of our digital tools, techniques and applications
Helping to champion digital transformation across the organisation.
Training, mentoring and facilitating colleagues to get the most from digital
Digital production such as web pages, images for social media and video
Key Skills and Attributes
We're looking for digital coordinator who can show ability in a range of areas including:
Use of Drupal CMS or similar.
Good HTML/CSS/UX
Design inc. Photoshop or similar.
Design thinking
Analysis and reporting
Prototyping/MVP development
Agile project management.
Please don?t be discouraged if you don?t have all of the skills above. Aptitude and transferable skills are equally important as we can offer training in some areas.
Ideally, you?ll be someone with:
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to empathise and understand colleagues at all levels, and help them to always put the user first.
Good collaboration and other team skills
A real passion for digital campaigning and fundraising, and a curious mind.
User centred approach to digital production
Dedication to the values and principles of Friends of the Earth.
About the Team
You'll be part of small and friendly team whose job it is to help Friends of the Earth get the best out of modern digital practices and technologies at all levels of the organisation. Over the last few years, we've worked with others across the organisation to:
Introduce a brand-new Drupal based CMS.
Lead Friends of the Earth's digital transformation.
Incubate our pioneering social media presences.
Trial lean start up techniques with our campaigners
Launch a digital start up in residence programme
Massively improve the impact of our digital fundraising and campaigning tools.
As we are transitioning from a team focussed on service delivery to digital transformation, you should be able to evolve your skillset over time. This includes being able to quickly pick up new digital tools and practices as well play an active part in the wider team's work.
