Are you passionate about exemplary 21st Century City Transport?
Nottingham has a great reputation as an innovative major transport city (e.g. Workplace Parking Levy, new tramlines, electric buses?) and has huge ambitions for the future. We are moving into a period of significant physical change particularly in the City Centre and are seeking to recruit to a key post that will be crucial in delivering the traffic management and transport infrastructure to support this transformation.
The Director of Traffic and Transport will be responsible for Transport Strategy, Traffic, and Public Transport. We are looking for a leading professional who has a complete understanding of sustainable city transport systems and how they can contribute to the prosperity of a city. Someone who will bring state of the art approaches to improving all of the components of the transport network and has a thirst for a big city transport challenge.
We particularly welcome applicants from black, minority, ethnic communities and disabled people as they are currently under represented at senior levels in the organisation.
