Birmingham Children?s Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has a national and international reputation as one of the leading providers of services for children and young people and is in the process of integrating with Birmingham Women?s NHS Foundation Trust, a centre of excellence, providing a range of specialist health care services to women and their families.
We are looking for a Chair to work with our Chief Executive, Board of Directors and Council of Governors to establish networks and partnerships to support the delivery of the Trust?s strategy and development of the Trust?s role as a key national lead in the delivery of women?s, children?s and young people?s health services. This is a pivotal role and an opportunity to join an organisation with the momentum to make real and lasting change; reshaping services to meet the needs of our local community and beyond.
Credibility, tenacity, drive, passion and enthusiasm are all pre-requisites for the role. With Board-level experience, you will know what it takes to succeed having worked in a similarly large and complex organisation, managing a myriad of stakeholders; driving forward change and a single organisational culture. You will understand the power of building relationships both internally and externally as well as possessing a natural ability to inspire, motivate and lead others with your inclusive approach.
