We also share our borders with other forces including the Metropolitan Police, Sussex Police, Surrey Police and Essex Police. About the role The role of a Police Constable can be demanding but highly rewarding. Every day, presents a new challenge, you will deal with different situations ensuring public order is maintained, at all times. You will be responsible for protection of life and property as well as prevention and detection of crime.
