Job Description
23,101.41 per annum. Status: Full time, Permanent Location: Leeds Based Closing Date: 12 Noon on Monday 14 th November 2016 Interview date: 24 th November 2016 in Leeds. Working in the Analysis team within Skills for Care's Workforce Intelligence unit, you will analyse and report on data held within the National Minimum Data Set for Social Care (NMDS-SC).
This will involve using statistical packages and techniques to interpret and present data to a range of different audiences. Supporting senior colleagues on analysis and report writing projects using multiple data sources, you will also provide specifications for, and testing of, changes to the online data collection system. Training will be provided, however experience and strong analytical and report writing skills are required.
The National Minimum Data Set for Social Care (NMDS-SC) is funded by the Department of Health and is the major data collection on the social care workforce. It collects data about care-providing establishments as well as data about individual workers. The intelligence sourced from this major data collection is used at national and local level to inform policy makers and workforce planners.
