Property Solicitor for UK�s No.1 Large Landlord, Croydon Fixed term for 2 years Full-time, 37 hours per week Starting salary �36,841 per annum rising to �40,934 per annum with service This is a brilliant opportunity to be part of a new in-house legal team helping AmicusHorizon to make a positive difference in tackling the national housing crisis. You�ll need to have experience of property transactional work including residential conveyancing ideally within a Housing Association, public sector body or other housing environment. Duties will include: � Providing legal advice and assistance on property matters including freehold and leasehold residential and commercial transactions � Responsibility for drafting leases and service charge deeds reports on title and other property related documents � Managing your own caseload of Right to Buy Disposals and Lease Extensions as well as staircasing of Shared Ownership Leases � Liaising with clients, suppliers and staff at all levels across the organisation to build and maintain effective working relationships with external contacts and partners � Producing professional and accurate documents to a high standard � Building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external contacts and partners � Supporting junior members of the legal team as required. We�re looking for someone who�s a qualified solicitor or barrister and has: � Experience of undertaking residential and commercial conveyancing and property advice, particularly for housing associations or other public sector bodies. � Excellent IT skills in particular Microsoft Office suite and Outlook. � Ability to present information in a variety of forms to a high standard, including excellent verbal and written communication skills. � Excellent legal drafting skills � The ability to resolve problems and respond quickly � Ability to prioritise work and manage demanding workload � A professional approach and a passion to provide excellent customer service.
