Job Description

Sittingbourne Permanent - full time, 37 hours per week Starting salary 28,458 per annum rising to 31,620 per annum with service If you're brilliant at IT operations support we need you to join our team. Were looking for a talented and experienced individual to fill a core role, working in the Technology Operations team to provide 2nd/3rd Line Support in a Windows Server and Citrix environment. Reporting to the Operations Team Leader, you'll make a major contribution to our organisation, helping to ensure we have reliable and high performing IT services. Key duties will include: Assist with the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the technology infrastructure systems and software, including backups. Contribute to the implementation of upgrades and new systems Contribute to 2nd/3rd line support for live systems and software. The successful candidate will: Have experience and technical knowledge of providing support for server hardware, Including: o Rack/Blade Servers (HP) o Virtualisation & Clustering o Windows server products Have exposure to backups and restores Have the ability to support: o Microsoft Exchange o Thin client technology (Microsoft Terminal Server and Citrix) o Microsoft Internet Information Server o Security management e.g. Firewall, Anti-virus, anti-Spam and intrusion management o Enterprise SAN & Backup (NetApp & TSM) o CISCO Switches, Routers & Firewalls and OS o Network/Firewall (General Architecture) Have a minimum of ITIL Foundation qualification Be able to manually handle equipment.
