Student satisfaction is high and the College sets the standard in its category. In a market-place that is at its most competitive, Bradford College is determined to ensure that it has the most appropriate curriculum, providing students with the skills which determine employability. As a mature HE provider, Bradford College is intent on making the autonomous decisions around the future character of its provision, particularly the defining features of vocational higher education. Key priorities will be to ensure continuous curriculum relevance as well as having in place the most effective delivery platforms. The Colleges uncompromising commitment to excellence will reinforce the desire to satisfy fully the new TEF frameworks. The Colleges approaches to development and growth mean that it will sustain its interfaces with stakeholders, especially employers; review continuously its range of courses, particularly Apprenticeships; and strengthen its pattern of partnerships. The support of academic staff will be fundamental to HE growth, with the College maintaining its signature alignment of scholarship and applied research to curriculum and pedagogy. The College intends to make an appointment which can demonstrably and immediately add value. Relevant experience and established success will sit alongside the capacity to understand the HE landscape and provide dynamic leadership across a range of functions. The role: This new post reflects the scale and scope of the Colleges current HE profile as well as the determination to engage most effectively with the policy challenges and market opportunities which will determine future success. The person: The post holder will line manage the faculty heads and will be the lead on the Colleges curriculum evolution and the continued development of its learning and teaching platforms. Curriculum development and shift will be determined by the nature of intended new course provision and it will be an expectation that the post holder will make the business case for change and oversee implementation. Success criteria will feature growth in student numbers, but accompanied also by evidence of student employability and satisfaction. The Colleges performance in line with TEF frameworks will be a central consideration.
