Job Description

The role: The post-holder will be responsible for operational leadership and management of the Employer Engagement activities relevant to the further education division of Bradford College. This will include developing, planning and organising profitable services to meet customers expectations and achieve commercial income targets. At the same time, responsiveness to the needs of business will result in the development of new award-bearing courses. These new products will be in line with the Colleges Apprenticeship Strategy and the strategic intentions around on-line provision. The post holder will be expected to have significant external engagement with employers, individually and collectively. Alongside these networks, the person will advise on policy issues and funding opportunities. The Associate Principal will be a key member of the FE Senior Leadership Team and will work closely with FE Departments. The relationship to the Director of Employer Responsiveness will assist in the development of College strategy and its delivery. The person: Familiarity with the business and skills environment will be balanced by an awareness of the processes of further education, so that the College can be as agile as possible while giving its employer links sound foundations.
