Job Description

We are currently seeking to recruit a Work and Learning Manager to oversee the current and future delivery which assists clients into education, training or employment. You will lead and motivate a staff team who work on various contracts to support our clients into learning and work. You will also support the matrix leader, to manage relationships with our multiple funders and ensure that all contractual obligations are being met; whilst developing new funding opportunities to further support our clients. To succeed, you will need to have a good knowledge of education, training and employment programmes and know what works in supporting clients into positive outcomes. Up to date knowledge of the training and employment issues for vulnerable clients and an understanding of the barriers to employment for people with a history of homelessness, is also essential. As is experience of managing multiple contracts including, performance monitoring, reporting and budgets.
